Summer Camp 2017

The Techno 293 UK Class Association is proud to present the annual Techno Summer Camp.

The Techno 293 UK Class Association is heading to Pitsford from 14th-18th August for its 10th year. Headed up by Ali Masters, the camp will offer great quality training for those looking to consolidate their learning at Team 15, whilst also looking to polish those skills around the course for any budding racers planning to attend the Nationals and upcoming world championships.

A wide-ranging coaching team has been assembled from across the UK with each individual hoping to pass on everything they know to drive your windsurfing forward, share their enthusiasm for the sport and guarantee all participants have loads of fun!

The camp is a great opportunity to get on the water with lots of other windsurfers to develop your skills and get access to some of the best coaching. It doesn’t matter if you have just started your windsurfing journey or are an experienced competitor this camp will develop your skills further in a fun relaxed environment.

The Techno Summer Camp is more than just a few days training, its action packed from 8am – 8pm filled with activities and challenges both out on the water and on shore. All sailor meals are provided and camping on site is strongly recommended. It’s a great opportunity to make lots of new friends within the sport and allows the parents to relax, enjoy the social scene that accompanies our sport and make the most of Pitsford and the lovely surrounding area.

Ali Masters – “I am really looking forward to being back at Pitsford, Northamptonshire it’s a fantastic place to train, providing a safe environment for all levels as well as lots opportunities to improve your windsurfing and utilise inland conditions to prepare for upcoming events. I am really excited about getting the team on the water and working with all the kids. The addition of some enthusiastic fresh young coaches will be great and we are very fortunate to have such depth in the team to work with all the kids.”

Costs – £250 (before 29th July) & £280 following this –  5 days of premium coaching, sailor meals and free camping.

The camp will take place at Pitsford Resevoir, Northampton sailing club. It is a non-residential camp and requires a parent or a designated loco parentis (over 18)  to be on site at all times. Additional Parent meals can be purchased at £75 for the week.  Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on site.

Coaching format – The camp will start at 9.30am on Monday morning with a briefing in the training room at Northampton SC. The following days will run from 8am – 8pm with the camp ending at 4:30pm on Friday.

Bring all your friends and we can’t wait to see you all there!!
